Chapter 5

Arriving at the restaurant was a little intimidating for Aurora, it was a lot fancier then she was used to. The atmosphere at the table was quite awkward, from what Yuri told her before, Yakov and Lilia were once married and still hold a lot of tension. It seemed that no one knew what to say, Aurora reached out to place her hand on Yuri’s knee, causing him to look over to see her smiling gently at him. He placed his hand over hers, grasping it tightly; his eyes looked pained. This was something Lilia noticed, knowing the fact they would be leaving early in the morning. Yuri needed to focus on skating, that was true, however she did understand how the boy felt, she was in love once herself. “So Yuri are you prepared for tomorrow?” Lilia asked, surprising everyone at the table. “Yeah I guess,” Yuri responded, looking down sadly. “I will be coming to Moscow for the Rostelecom Cup, so it’s not like we won’t meet again, and I promise I will come to the final as well!” Aurora stated adamantly, Yuri’s hand squeezed hers once again. “The least Yakov can do is let the two of them spend the evening together without bothering them right?” Mila spoke, giving Yakov a serious look. He grumbled, looking over to Lilia who gave him a small nod. “Fine, I get it!” “Thank you…” Aurora blushed, she really did appreciate what they were doing for her.

Back at the hotel Yuri and Aurora sat on the couch again, this time the two of them were a lot more nervous than before. “Hey Yuri, can you help take the clips out of my hair?” Aurora asked, breaking the tension. “Yeah sure,” Yuri spoke, Aurora turned around, her heart racing as Yuri pulled out all of her pins. His hands rummaging through her hair felt really good, she almost didn't want him to stop, however she yearned to kiss him even more. Her hair came loose, causing Yuri’s heart to race again the second she turned around to look at him. With her hair down and wavy, Yuri reached out to stroke it before pulling her into his arms. Aurora nuzzled her head into his chest, feeling such warmth while Yuri continued to run his fingers through her soft locks. “I hate the fact I’m leaving tomorrow, this feeling seriously sucks,” Yuri spoke, resting his chin on the top of her head. “I know, honestly I wish I was going back with you,” Aurora responded, making Yuri smile to himself. “Really?” He smirked, lifting Aurora’s head up, meeting her lips with his own. “We only have a few hours left, did you have any idea how you wanted to spend it?” Yuri asked to Aurora’s surprise. “Yeah actually… I want to know more about you, I want to know what you like, what you don’t, what your childhood was like, everything that you are willing to tell me!” Feeling Aurora lock her fingers within his, Yuri didn't know what to think. This girl he just met already loved him this much, he could tell with every look she gave him. “Alright, but I want to know about you as well.” Yuri smiled sweetly; Aurora moved to sit on him whilst his arms made their way around her waist. The two of them talked for hours; laughter, embarrassment, understanding, and most of all love were the emotions the two shared. The time when Yakov returned brought a sharp pain to both of their stomachs, that moment they were dreading had now arrived. “Yuri it’s time,” Yakov spoke; even he felt a little bad for Yuri, but more experiences in life could only aid his skating.

Aurora followed Yuri outside into the hall, both became silent, the only sound was the door lightly shutting behind them. Aurora promised herself that she wouldn't cry, after all she would be seeing him in a month’s time. Logic still couldn’t stop her emotions, her eyes welled up, breaking Yuri’s heart the second he saw tears fall. “Sorry, I thought I would be able to handle this,” Aurora spoke, rubbing the tears from her eyes. Yuri pulled her tightly into his arms, where he too couldn’t hide how he was feeling. Aurora’s eyes widened the second she felt him start to tremble. All she could do was hold him close, this chance encounter had brought her so much happiness, she wanted him to know that much. “Yuri… I am so grateful that by chance I was able to meet you, to fall for you and even more that you somehow fell for me. I promise my feelings will never change, I will message you every day, even if it’s about nothing, I will try my best to work as hard as you do!” Aurora spoke, tears now falling faster than before. Yuri pulled back, grabbing her cheeks suddenly. “Stupid! It wasn’t a chance encounter, this was fate! Don’t you ever forget that!” He argued before giving her a reassuring smile. “Right…” Aurora smiled back, her fingers wrapping around Yuri’s. Yuri leaned in, his hand brushing through her hair, thumb resting on her cheek as he rubbed the tears from her eyes. Their lips met, the warmth of Yuri’s mouth was hotter than before, almost toxic, making the air that broke their kiss as cold as the ice he skated on. Yuri placed a kiss on Aurora’s forehead, pulling back in regret. “Until next time,” he spoke, trying to be as strong as possible until the end. “Yeah, till next time,” Aurora spoke back, her fingers separating from Yuri’s before she turned around to walk away. As much as she wanted to look back, she knew it would make it that much harder. Yuri’s fingers grasped the handle of the door, needing to look one last time, he gave in, only his eyes met with Aurora’s; losing to her desires once more. Before she knew it, Aurora was running back, jumping at the last second into Yuri’s arms. His kiss left her limp, the parting of their mouths in the jumbled mess of desire had shivers shooting throughout her nerves. Wanting to memorize his taste and touch so she could replay this moment over and over again. Yuri’s kiss was gentle yet demanding, he wanted to melt into her, to experience pure bliss alongside her. Aurora’s hands on his neck were burning into his skin, as much as he wanted to it was impossible to hold her any closer. Gasping for air after their longest most heated kiss to date, only a small saliva trail connected them until it too broke apart. Not saying a single word, the two blush slightly and smile, before turning away and this time not needing to look back.

It all went by so fast and soon they both had returned home and back to their everyday lives. The only difference was that the two communicated every chance they could get. Yuri would send photos and videos of him practicing, showing that he was continuing to work hard. Aurora was back in school, trying to focus as much as she could, however every now and then she couldn’t help but check the news in Russia or re-look at one of the selfies that Yuri sent her. Aurora’s favourite time was when the two of them got to facetime, even if the hours were a little off, as long as she got to see him, everything was okay. Yuri continued to practice hard, he was determined to beat JJ and Yuuri; with Aurora and his grandpa there, he couldn’t lose! Mila would tease him from time to time, she had apparently also been communicating with Aurora as well. One thing Yuri didn't know was that the two girls were hiding something from him. Aurora was a little nervous about it but Mila assured her that Yuri would be really happy once he found out. After she managed to convince her mother she also informed her father to why she would be needing some extra money. He was happy for his daughter, and was looking forward to the day he got to meet the boy. Aurora and Yuri hadn’t made any announcements stating that they were in a relationship, however they weren’t hiding it. Nothing had hit the media stream yet, though it was likely to come out once the two were reunited in Moscow.

It felt like an eternity but the Rostelecom Cup had finally come up. Yuri had already been in Moscow for a day, he had spent it with his grandpa whom was looking forward to meeting his grandson’s first girlfriend. Yuri had gone back to the airport the next day, against Yakov’s wishes; though Yuri could care less, he would finally get to see Aurora again. Waiting outside the gate, Yuri felt his heart pounding, her flight had arrived and she would be walking through those doors any second now. “If it isn’t Yuri!” Feeling a sense of dread, Yuri turned around to see JJ. “What are you doing here?” Yuri glared, JJ just waved his finger; “tsk tsk, are you forgetting that it’s my aunt and cousin who are arriving now? What kind of person would I be if I wasn’t here to greet my family who flew across the world just to see me skate?” Yuri felt like slugging the guy.

Aurora couldn't contain her excitement as she rushed out the door, knowing Yuri was so close was all she could think about. Her mother attempted to keep up, however Aurora was not in the mood to wait. She heard familiar voices argue, feet moving as fast as they could. “Would you go away already?” Yuri yelled, “you sure get angry easy, reminds me of someone else.” JJ’s voice was irritating Aurora even at a distance. However, Yuri’s voice was drawing her closer to him. “Yuri!” Yuri turned to see Aurora running towards him. “Hey Aurora, thanks for coming!” JJ spoke, however Aurora just ran past him, jumping into Yuri’s open arms. He spun her around to counter the weight thrown at him. A tight and long embrace felt right, it was way overdue. Letting go the two just faced each other and smiled. “I’ve missed you so much!” Aurora spoke, hugging Yuri once again, taking in his scent. “Same here,” Yuri spoke as his arms found their way around her waist once more. “Aurora, did you even say hello to your cousin?” Her mother asked with an irritated tone. “Hi JJ,” Aurora spoke, turning her head to look at him, extremely briefly before snuggling back into her boyfriend’s arms. Her mother just sighed, that wasn’t exactly unexpected. “My grandpa is waiting outside to meet you!” Yuri stated, he had been waiting for this all day. “I’m a bit nervous, I hope he will like me…” Aurora spoke, knowing how important his grandfather was to him, if he didn’t like her then that would likely be it for the two of them. “Don’t be stupid, he will love you!” Yuri reassured, patting her head. “Then let’s go! JJ be a dear and help my mom take our bags to the hotel, thanks!” Aurora waved, grabbing Yuri’s hand and running off before her mother had a chance to say anything.

“Do you even know where you are going?” Yuri asked, being pulled along. “No clue, I’m just looking for a deserted place first,” Aurora responded, her eyes searching for a location they could be alone. “Why?” Yuri questioned, wondering what could be going through her head. “Oh that looks like it will work!” Aurora spoke, dragging Yuri towards a door. “You know that says staff only right?” Yuri continued to question, but Aurora went through anyway. “Yep!” Aurora smiled, the door closing behind them, leaving the two in an empty hall. “Again why?” Yuri was cut off by Aurora’s lips on his. Her hands made their way through his hair, while his were used to pull her closer. Their kiss was filled with an intense hunger, time apart had them both eagerly waiting for this moment. She clung to him tightly the second their tongues made contact, even if they were caught, there was no way she could stop. Aurora peppered kisses all over Yuri’s face before another passionate kiss on the lips. Yuri’s face went bright red when Aurora pulled back for air, a satisfied smile plastered on her face. “I’m sure you didn’t want me doing that in front of your grandpa, after all there was no way I could wait until tonight.” Yuri just nodded, his face still glowing red. “Same here…” escaped from his lips, the two shared another gentler kiss before exiting. Yuri’s fingers locked with Aurora’s, not caring if the two were seen. Feeling warmth surging through him, he then leads her out of the building to where his grandpa was waiting.

The second Yuri spotted his grandfather he sped up, pulling Aurora along with him. “Grandpa, this is Aurora!” Yuri smiled, his grandpa looked down at her with stern features. Aurora was definitely intimidated, but she wouldn’t let nerves stop her from making a great first impression. “Hello sir, it’s very nice to meet you,” Aurora spoke, bowing her head a little in respect. Yuri tried not to chuckle, she was being overly formal. “It is very nice to meet you as well, my little Yurochka has told me a lot about you.” He smiled, instantly making Aurora feel less anxious. “Grandpa even brought some of his piroshky for you to try,” Yuri added, the gentle look on his face sent a warm rush through Aurora’s body. “That was really kind of you sir,” Aurora smiled back. “Please dear, call me Nikolai,” he stated as he opened the car door for them to get into. “Okay,” Aurora grinned, getting into the car where she was pressed right against Yuri. It was a very old car so the two had to share the front seat. Aurora became nervous for another reason, she had heard driving in Russia could be scary and she was sure this car would fall apart any second now. “Here try one!” Yuri held out a bag with a warm smile. “O-okay thanks!” Aurora spoke as she reached in to grab one of the piroshky. The car started to move and she instantly clung to Yuri, holding him tight. “Aren’t you going to try it?” Yuri questioned. “Of course!” She spoke before taking a bite, the last thing she wanted to do was offend Yuri, even if she had really bad anxiety when in cars, especially old unsafe ones. She instantly snapped out of it when she tasted the piroshky. It was filled with cottage cheese, reminding her of the pyrahi that her mother and baba made. “It’s so good!” Aurora’s eyes lit up, taking another bite. “I know right? I told grandpa about that pyrahi you mentioned to me, so he made his own version, it’s really good!” Yuri was really excited; Aurora had never seen him look so happy. “Thank you so much Nikolai, it’s really delicious!” Aurora blushed, she was really touched that he went to the trouble for her sake. Nikolai just smiled as well, before turning his attention back to the road, something else she was grateful for.

First Yuri’s grandpa took them to see St. Basil’s Cathedral since Yuri told him that it was a sight that Aurora wanted to see. The unique architecture and array of colours were reason enough to see it, not to mention it was a top tourist attraction that wouldn’t take up too much of their time. After Aurora got all the photos she wanted the three of them went out to Yuri’s old favourite restaurant. It was fun for Aurora to see Yuri talk so much, he was really adorable and sweet when around his Grandpa. She noticed how Nikolai was very silent, but he looked happy watching his grandson talk. Something did concern her though, the fact that he didn’t seem to be in the greatest health. If anything ever happened to him, Yuri would be inconsolable and that thought just about killed her. She tried to get that thought out of her head and enjoy the evening. Once dinner was over Nikolai drove Yuri and Aurora back to the hotel. “Thank you for everything, I really enjoyed myself!” Aurora smiled, “I’m glad, take care of Yuri for me and make sure he rests for tomorrow.” Nikolai requested, “I’ll be just fine, you take care of yourself!” Yuri replied, showing concern for his grandpa’s health. “We will see you later then!” Aurora spoke as the two got out of the car, Nikolai nodded back before driving off.

“Your grandpa is a really nice man,” Aurora smiled sweetly, her hand reaching out and taking hold of Yuri’s. “I told you! I’m really glad you two got to meet, I could tell that he likes you.” Yuri smiled back, his hand made its way to cup Aurora’s cheek. “I’m so relieved,” she spoke, resting her head’s weight against Yuri’s hand. “Do you want to come up to my room?” Yuri asked, his eyes and the smirk on his face were pure seduction. Aurora again answered by pressing her lips against his. “Good, let’s head in,” Yuri smiled when the kiss broke. He wanted to kiss her longer, however his room would be a lot more ideal. Walking into the hotel, Yuri tried to avoid the paparazzi as much as he could, after all Aurora was with him and he didn’t want to get her involved. Sneaking towards the elevators, Yuri is completely startled when a familiar voice calls out to him. “If it isn’t Yurio!” Yuri’s face drooped, he would recognize that stupid voice and nickname anywhere. “Victor… what do you want?” Yuri spoke with dread. “Yurio?” Aurora questioned, turning to look at her boyfriend, he looked aggravated and slightly embarrassed. “It’s a nickname we gave him when he came to Japan to stay at my inn.” The Japanese boy answered. It was obvious that he was Yuuri Katsuki, a somewhat friend to Yuri and one of his fellow competitors. “You must be Aurora,” Victor smiled, causing Aurora to blush, she was shocked that the famous Victor Nikiforov knew who she was. It wasn't likely that Yuri had told him about her. “How do you know that?” Yuri cried out, completely thrown off by Victor’s knowledge. “Mila told me all about her, congrats Yurio!” Victor winked, making Yuri turn red from both embarrassment and anger. “It’s so very nice to meet the both of you, Yuri has told me a lot about the two of you!” Aurora smiled, Yuri didn’t appear too pleased that she said that. “かつきさん、はせつはきれいですか、にほんにいきたい。” Aurora spoke, surprising everyone present. “Wait, you can speak Japanese?” Yuri gawked in amazement, he found it hard to believe she never told him. “はい、はるはすごくきれい、ぼくのおんせんをたずねて。” Yuuri smiled in reply. “Oi talk in a language we can all understand!” Yuri yelled, not liking the idea of the two of them getting too close. “Yuri calm down, I was just asking about Hasetsu, you may have gotten to visit but I want to go to Japan myself.” “You really should! I’m sure you would enjoy the baths!” Victor’s eyes lit up, it was obvious that he himself enjoyed them quite a lot. “I know! I have always wanted to try the hot springs, Japan just knows how make you feel completely refreshed in body and spirit!” Aurora went on, her love of the country was too quite obvious. “Come on, let’s go back to my room!” Yuri insisted, not wanting to be in their presence a second longer. “Oh rushing her back to your room are we? Yurio, I had no idea you were so pent up!” Victor winked, causing both Yuri and Aurora to blush. “I’m not!” Yuri yelled out, completely flustered. “We were just going to get some dinner; did you want to join us?” Yuuri asked, however Yuri just grabbed Aurora’s wrist, pulling her towards the elevator. “We already ate!” He stated adamantly, “sorry, maybe tomorrow? It was nice meeting you both!” Aurora managed to speak before the elevator doors closed behind them. Yuri just sighed deeply, “weren’t you a little rude to them?” Aurora questioned, hoping that Yuri didn't blow up at her. “Who cares, at least we weren’t stuck with them!” Aurora wondered what Yuri’s issue was with them. “They care about you Yuri, I don’t know why you avoid them.” Aurora spoke, reaching out to brush the hair out of Yuri’s face. He just avoided looking her in the eyes.

Finally arriving at Yuri’s room they were met with Yakov yelling the second they walked through the door. “Yuri you said you would be back an hour ago!” Yuri just dropped on the couch and groaned. “I’m back now so can you leave already!” Yakov looked even more pissed then before. “Hello Yakov it’s nice to see you again…” Aurora spoke nervously, only to be met with a “tsk, yeah yeah…” before walking out. “Man he is such a nag!” Yuri continued to whine. Aurora walked over to sit next to him, her hand making its way to Yuri’s thigh, quickly catching his attention. “Come on tiger, do you have to be in such a bad mood when we finally get some alone time together,” Aurora cooed, snuggling up against him. If having her pressed up against him wasn’t enough to get his attention, calling him tiger sure got him fired up. A smirk became clearly visible on his face. “You make a persuasive argument,” Yuri replied with seduction, his eyes locked with Aurora’s whilst his hand on her waist pulled her closer. Sliding his other hand past her ear, his lips met hungrily with hers. This time he could hold her as close to him as possible and kiss her as long as he wanted. After a heated kiss the two broke apart for air. Aurora nuzzled her head into Yuri’s neck, placing kiss after kiss down to his collarbone. Yuri’s stomach fluttered when Aurora pulled down the zipper to his hoodie. Her eyes that met his were full of passion and desire, he wasn’t exactly sure how far this was going to go, though there was no way he planned on stopping it. It’s not as though he was a kid like everyone thought, he was a teen after all. When his hoodie was completely unzipped, Yuri slid out of it and tossed it to the side. Aurora pressed her face into Yuri’s chest, her arms locked around his back. “Something wrong?” Yuri questioned, a little confused by her actions. “No, I just feel like even being this close to you isn’t close enough.” Aurora spoke, looking up at Yuri with an incredibly cute look on her face. “Should I take my shirt off too then?” Yuri smirked, causing Aurora to turn an intense shade of red. “D-don’t tease me!” Aurora said as she buried her face back in Yuri’s chest. “I was just kidding, you get embarrassed so easy,” Yuri responded as Aurora’s face showed itself again. “I didn’t say no,” she blushed, making Yuri’s face turn just as red as Aurora’s prior. It was Aurora’s turn to smirk, “yeah, I get embarrassed easy…” Even Yuri’s ears were a bright shade of red. However, he wasn’t going to just take her teasing him now. Grabbing the bottom of his shirt, in one swift movement Yuri pulled it off and tossed it aside. Aurora was back to a blushing mess, Yuri was quite pleased to again be in the lead, as though this was a contest. Aurora was however a bit too distracted by the porcelain flesh in front of her. Her heart was racing so fast she didn’t know what to do or say, all she could do was snuggle into his beautiful bare chest. Yuri felt flustered as well, his heart was racing and considering where Aurora was resting her head there was no doubt she wasn’t aware.
Chapter 1-  Snow HalationChapter 1
His movements were beautiful, his slender features made him out to be an angel. His blonde hair looked so soft and light, the way it flowed as he skated captivated her, she felt as though he had put her under a trance. He appeared to move as light as a feather, spinning as if he was defying gravity itself. For the first time Aurora could see that there was much more to figure skating then she had previously thought. Sure, there was always the entertainment factor, however watching this boy was different, she found herself out of breath, completely mesmerised. This Yuri Plisetsky was something, he was someone who clearly pushed himself beyond his limits. Aurora had viewed many figure skating performance before, her cousin was the current top Canadian figure skater. Even though she didn’t like him very much, her mother insisted if they didn’t go to one of his competitions then they should at least watch him on TV. One day Aurora just happened to catch the World Juni

Aurora gripped Yuri’s shoulders, holding on to him tightly, eyes making contact with his once more. He felt his eyes start to close as his lips were being drawn to Aurora’s again. Yuri’s scent was intoxicating, she wanted to nothing more than to give in to temptations by ripping all of their clothes off and having him take her on this couch. That thought was persistent, but Yuri was still younger than her and she knew it was still too early for that. An intense kiss like this though was making it harder for her, touching Yuri’s bare skin was thrilling, imagining what it would be like if he touched her was too much. Aurora broke from the kiss and began to nibble on Yuri’s ear which surprised him. “O-oi what are you…” Yuri’s train of thought was disrupted by Aurora’s tongue being draped across his neck before she started to suck. “Nng… Aurora wait… ahng…” Yuri moaned, his voi
